Cardio Drumming- Where Music and PE Class Meet

Help me give my students equipment for cardio drumming and other fitness and rhythm activities.

My Project

The unique thing about this project is that the equipment can be used for various activities in both music and PE class. Specificially, I would like to introduce my students to cardio drumming in PE Class. Cardio drumming is a form of physical activity that includes movement and timekeeping activities. It can be performed in popular music, or students can create their own routine (after learning the basics). In music class, the students will learn how to tap out rhythms and beat-keeping, which will aid in the fun of cardio drumming. Ultimately, I would like the students to relate exercise and fitness with fun so they will make healthy choices.

Our school is a Title 1 school where the students enjoy being introduced to new things.
