My Project
I am looking to put together a cardio drumming set for my students. Cardio drumming is a great way to promote student engagement, cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and rhythmic movement through a fun, inclusive, and adaptable activity. We will use it during PE to get our bodies moving while incorporating some fun rhythmic challenges. This activity is also great for my students who need adapted physical education activities to accommodate their specific and individual needs as well as my special education students who thrive and incorporating music into their learning.
To set up our cardio drumming classroom, we will need a bucket for each student, with a large rubber exercise ball on top.
Students will need a set of rhythm sticks as well.
