Capturing the Minds of Special Needs Children

Help me give my students headphones, calculators, a cornhole game, and other materials for an opportunity to enhance social skills through listening, learning, and realistic game play, all while sitting on the much needed 8'X10' Unique Loom Trellis Frieze Collection Lattice Moroccan Geometric Modern Area Rug.

My Students

I teach middle school special needs students with severe cognitive disabilities. Although each student is different in their own right, It's truly a pleasure to witness firsthand when those beautiful, smiling bright lights come on after correctly responding to a question posed. They are the reason I want to teach!

My Project

The Trouble, Connect 4, Bean bag toss, Simon Electonic Memory Game, Zingo Sight Words, 80pc. See and Spell Learning Toys, will help improve student social skills and their ability to learn through play. Furthermore, It will encourage even the lowest level students to participate.

Students with special needs want to learn, but aside from their disability, often lack confidence to try.

Having the opportunity to use the headphones with microphones and to work with realistic money for learning to count and calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide will offer a different, successful pathway to experience learning.

Being able to gather on a comfortable, Unique Loom Trellis Frieze Collection Lattice Moroccan Geometric Modern Area Rug( 8 x 10 ft. ), gives students additional access to one another through socializing and learning.
