Help me give my students a set of microphones, headphones, and soundproofing materials will create a space for students to podcast, respond to reading, and interact digitally so they can have their own recording station.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am fortunate enough to spend my day with 17 learners, readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, dreamers, thinkers, and changemakers. These fourth graders push themselves to accomplish challenging goals, think critically across multiple perspectives to craft informed opinions, and collaborate to solve problems in creative and flexible ways. Our classroom community deeply values the importance of justice, literacy, and empathy to make our mark on our world.
They are the embodiment of being the change they wish to see in the world.
Their deep thinking and unique perspectives inspire me everyday.
My Project
The nature of our world has changed. We have become an ever-changing, innovative society based on technology and collaboration. Therefore, it is pertinent for our classrooms to become spaces where students can explore and master 21st century learning skills.
Technology skills and collaborative environments prepare our students to become movers and shakers of the future.
My goal is to amplify their voices, opinions, and perspectives with a classroom recording booth. Students will both independently and collaboratively create audio to share responses to reading, information they have learned, and perspectives they hold on current events and social issues. They will share their audio work with other classmates, classrooms, and schools across our district in order to safely and effectively navigate digital conversations.
