Capturing Nutrition and Mathematics Through Dramatic Play.
Help me give my students an opportunity to learn through play as they pretend play with this new kitchen appliance and cash register. The children love to play restaurant where they make food and learn business skills.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My preschool students love to pretend play in all of my areas. However, my children love to go to the kitchen area to cook food, have picnics and even play restaurant. This gives them the opportunity to learn so many skills such as socializing, language development, mathematical skills as they measure and set timers as well as operate the cash register! My students come from low income families and are always so appreciative of everything and I know they would be so happy with these items. Thank you so much!
