This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Lunar New Year is a time for celebration, culture, and storytelling—a perfect opportunity for my students to connect with traditions and showcase their creativity. To make this experience unforgettable, I’m seeking a camera that will allow my students to document their projects, capture special moments, and create multimedia stories about this vibrant celebration and many more to come.
With this camera, my students can photograph classroom decorations and create digital projects that highlight the themes of unity, gratitude, and prosperity central to Lunar New Year.
Beyond this celebration, the camera will be a lasting resource, supporting student creativity throughout the school year in science experiments, art projects, and other hands-on learning activities.
Your contribution will empower my students to develop skills in photography, storytelling, and digital media while preserving memories of their growth and accomplishments. Together, let’s help them capture the magic of Lunar New Year and beyond!
