it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our Middle School, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued, celebrated, and empowered. To further this mission, we are seeking funding for a school photo booth equipped with essential photography tools that will serve as both an incentive and a confidence-building opportunity for our students to host in our Community Schools Center.
Whether celebrating academic achievements, school spirit, cultural heritage, or personal growth, this booth will provide them with a platform to express themselves creatively and build positive self-esteem.
Many students struggle with self-confidence, and having a space where they can take pride in their appearance and achievements can have a lasting impact on their self-worth.
The photo booth will be available for all students, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate, be recognized, and feel a sense of belonging within the school community. The booth will be used as an incentive for student participation, academic success, and positive behavior, motivating students to engage more with their school community.
For many students, school experiences shape their lives. This photo booth will allow them to capture and cherish their milestones, friendships, and personal growth throughout their school journey.
To bring this vision to life, we are requesting funding for:
- A high-quality iPad to capture pictures
- A professional-style backdrop set
- Studio lighting for high-quality photos
- Fun and engaging props to encourage creativity
- A small printer
This will help create a supportive space where students can express themselves, build confidence, and feel truly valued. Every student deserves to feel seen and celebrated, and with your generosity, we can provide them with a meaningful and lasting way to do so.
