My Students
My name is Valbona Mazaj and I teach in the school district of Philadelphia. I have been teaching sixth grade for many years and I love every moment of it. My students are curious, fun to be around, and compassionate.
Whether at school or at home we try hard to Be Responsible, Be Prepared, and Be Respectful.
While we are teaching online and students are learning from home, I want us to all be successful on this journey.
My Project
I would love to teach my students with the ultimate teaching tool for online learning: the document camera. It serves as a substitute to a smartboard. The document camera allows my students and I to view each other’s papers during goggle meets. It allows me to bring the books alive to children. It projects excellent picture clarity with high-quality vibrant colors. Most of us are visual learners and they need to see the information placed on graphs, maps, and charts for better learning. The document camera is a great tool to capture all of my students’ attention.
