A picture is worth a thousand words! When you view a photograph, your mind instantly goes back to that moment. You remember everything! I would like to use this camera to capture learning moments in the classroom and share the photos with my students!
I teach twenty-one wonderful students in an all day Kindergarten classroom in a high-need community.
My classroom is hands- and brains-on, and we love to learn from one another and through music. We love to sing and dance. My goal is to inspire my students to believe in themselves and become lifelong learners. They have made my life brighter, and I would like to brighten theirs in return!
My Project
The digital camera, HP memory card, and camera case I requested will be perfect for
our classroom! My students love looking at pictures of themselves! Without fail, they always talk about how they remember wearing the particular outfit. Then, they describe what they were doing at that specific moment in time. Until now, I have been using my personal camera in the classroom. However, it has recently quit working. I have been borrowing cameras from other teachers when I know a great learning opportunity is about to happen. However, many spontaneous moments have
been lost. When I am able to take quality photos of the kids, I like to
give the students the photos. It means the world to my students and parents to have those invaluable memories captured!
