Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are passionate, creative changemakers who recently launched Junk Kouture, a sustainable fashion club that transforms recycled materials into stunning wearable art. This incredible organization inspires environmental responsibility while showcasing our students’ creativity and innovation.
We need a high-quality camera to professionally capture our students’ designs and projects.
These photos will allow us to:
• Showcase their work for competitions and exhibitions.
• Promote sustainability through impactful visual storytelling.
• Document key events and achievements across our school community.
With Junk Kouture and other student-led initiatives growing, a camera will ensure our students’ hard work is seen, celebrated, and shared.
A professional camera will empower our students to share their sustainable creations with pride. It will help elevate their projects to broader audiences, attract opportunities, and inspire others to join the movement for environmental change.
