My Project
Most of our learning throughout the day takes place on our carpet! We have morning meetings here and start our day here with our daily phonics lessons (ECRI). During math time about half the students gather on the carpet and everyone is back here during science time. We also congregate here for story time and when we have guest presenters. And, of course, small groups are held here, as are the after school tutoring lessons.
Our meeting carpet is an integral part of our learning day!
Please help replace our old, dingy carpet with a fresh, new vibrant one! This carpet is large enough for our growing class and has a special spot for everyone to sit on. It is especially relevant because it includes many of the fish we see in our reefs near our island, so the print is not only engaging but also educational.
