Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach VPK for a Title One school. Working for a Title One school we have to be resourceful/creative to come up with different materials to enhance student learning. My students come into school excited and ready to learn. I love working with this age group because it is their foundation to the start of their educational journey.
I love my students because they come to school loving school and their school family.
Children of a young age love school and look up to their teachers and treat us like we are family. The hugs, love and drawings that I receive on a daily basis makes being an early childhood educator so worthwhile. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my VPK Class. Go Jaguars!
My Project
Would love to have caps and gowns for our Pre-K Graduation! We will reuse these throughout the years to come. I know that its a hardship for many families to purchase these and it would mean so much to me and our little graduates to have this special gift that we can continue to enjoy for future graduations as well. :)
The pictures and the memories that will come with these caps and gowns would mean so much to both the families and myself.
