Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's world, where children are saturated with information through social media and human interactions have become limited. Our youths need to have access to resources that help them build social skills and techniques for anxiety relief. I also wish to help my students thrive in life by teaching them resilience and confidence.
With this project, I want to provide my students social-emotional learning activities that will help them build empathy and trust, as well as teach them much needed exercises for stress management.
The books in this project will show students how grit, positive social interactions, and compassion can help you overcome adversities in life.
