My Project
Kindergarten students have the hardest time sitting still to learn. Their little bodies are not able to sit like older students can.
Instead of asking them to sit still all day, I want to allow them to move!
These wave seats offer several different ways of sitting so that all students can find a way to be comfortable and learn simultaneously.
This small gesture of understanding how their bodies work is the first step in building a classroom environment that supports and promotes learning. Allowing them to move gives them the freedom to get the wiggles out and still focus on what is important: the lesson.
