My Students

In our rural school district, I have a vibrant classroom of energetic kinder-kids who are eager to learn through creative, fun, cooperative activities. Their exuberance is contagious and makes my every day fresh.

Kindergarten should be a solid foundation for the rest of a child's education.

In order for these youngsters to be most successful, it is important for them to be safe in our classroom environment.

My Project

Our Kindergarten grade level is divided into color teams. My class is Team Purple. These matching purple masks will give my students a feeling of safety and a positive spirit of togetherness. They will also aid in making my students easily identifiable while they are traveling throughout the school building.

The clear plastic face shields will be indispensable for in-class use, not only for seeing their wonderful smiles, but they will also aid me in making adjustments in literacy and phonemic instruction by being able to see their mouth formations.
