Can't Learn On An Empty Stomach

Help me give my students items to snack on through out the day, between breakfast and lunch, a couple of items to enjoy during free time such as 1:14 RC Cars that we will teach them to handle with care.

My Project

All of our students want to learn but its difficult sometimes when you haven't had breakfast or need a snack to hold you over till lunch. I work at a title 1 Special Ed Center and we always in need of extra snacks for our students. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive when they have a full belly.

Snacks in the classroom play a crucial role in maintaining students' focus and energy levels throughout the school day.

By providing nutritious snacks, teachers can help stabilize students' blood sugar levels, preventing the mid-morning or afternoon slumps that can hinder concentration and learning.

Healthy snacks also offer an opportunity for students to make positive food choices and learn about balanced nutrition, reinforcing good habits that extend beyond the classroom. Moreover, snacks can serve as a motivational tool, rewarding students for good behavior or academic progress, thereby fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. In essence, incorporating snacks thoughtfully into the classroom setting supports both cognitive function and overall well-being, enhancing students' ability to learn and thrive.
