This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Recently, our class was donated a handful of YA books to help our students expand their reading horizons during independent reading. However, we did not expect to receive such a wide variety of books and our classroom shelves can no longer store our new books !
With these donations, we will be able to display and divide our new books by genre.
As my high school teacher once told me, a classroom that displays different learning opportunities will encourage learning. By donating to our project, you will not only help expand a classroom library but you will also help increase student's academic achievement!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
