This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Everyday students come into an ESL classroom and grab a class computer from the Chrome cart. They are using these computers to write papers, create slideshows, and just to generally complete their work. They are often tasked with a "drop and drag" section, a "select the best..", or just general formatting.
These tasks are not fun with a touch pad; they need a mouse!
The students I work with are not native English speakers. Their day-to-day school experience is already inherently more frustrating than the average English speaking student.
Help my students become tech proficient! Give them the tools they need to manipulate the virtual space they are expected to work in with ease.
