My Project
Since reeds are made from cane, they only last for about two weeks before having to be replaced. Some students like multiple reeds because weather, heat, and humidity affect how a reed can play and perform. With them coming before and after school to practice, the reeds last less because they are used more often.
Students will be learning a new piece of music and work as a team to bring different parts together to become a full song.
Many students participate in extracurricular music activities and they also use this experience as a springboard to receive a music scholarship in college. The reeds will help challenge and push students to set higher goals and achieve better results.
