Help me give my students the ability to succeed in a remote learning environment so that they can learn and focus better without any background interference.
My students are among the greatest in the world. Many of them seek to do something new and exciting. They work hard and love the arts. Some of them are talented in poetry writing, in theater, and in visual arts. They are dedicated to learning and having real-world experiences.
Most of them are immigrants from the Caribbean, Central America, Yemen, Nigeria, Ghana, and the Dominican Republic (and other countries).
They desire to experience new things, but often lack the resources to experience all the culture that the world has to offer. Some of these students are taking advanced placement courses to prepare themselves for college.
My Project
Most of my students are at home with either siblings or with parents. They stuggle to focus on the lesson because of background conversations and noise that impedes their ability to hear and listen to the lesson.
Noise canceling headphones will help them be able to succeed academically and will give them the ability to complete assignments and study better while at home.
Ultimately, more students will login to the Zoom classroom if they know that they can concentrate better and take more of an active pary in the lesson.
