I am in a school library that hosts intensive needs students. They need specialized items when they come to the library. These items would make their library experience more enjoyable. My students are non-verbal students that need to be able to use sensory items to help them with tough situations. Students will have access to these items every visit, each week.
Students deserve to have access to all the items that they need at all times.
Students will be using these items in the library every week to help with their sensory needs as well as fine motor skills. I will have a lesson planned to help them learn a skill and use the light table to enrich the activity.
This will help them grow and learn. These items will also help with classroom management and behavior.
