My Students

My 2nd Graders are willing and eager to learn each and every day. They deserve the ultimate best in regards to their education. My students deserve to be a part of a classroom that is cutting edge in regards to technology, tools, equipment, and basic supplies. Today's education world is ever-changing and we need to stay up to date in all aspects. Our elementary school accommodates 70% of students who come from low-income households. A large portion of our yearly classroom supplies and tools are solely teacher-funded. Due to this, many classrooms are lacking necessary equipment and technology that will best meet the needs of today's students.

My Project

An up-to-date document camera will allow me to display daily lessons. This display will allow students to then stay on track and focused! Having a visual on display will also provide appropriate modeling for the students. Student work can also be displayed under the camera and they will be able to explain their work to their peers. Along with student work, there are many other items that can be displayed: books, worksheets, workbook pages, projects, writing prompts, and so much more. The possibilities are endless!

This type of technology upgrade will provide my students with cutting edge equipment that they need in order to succeed.

In today's education world, we need to be providing students with more opportunities to improve technological literacy.
