My Students

Tone. Quality. Phrasing. Teamwork. Intonation. Creativity. Performance. Fun. Improvisation. These are all things that we work on every day in the band room.

Our school is a school of choice, so students travel from various locations within our city limits to attend.

My students come to school eager to learn more about music and their instruments. We provide a standards-based music education through the performance of music from all genres. Each day we work towards making quality music and turning young adults into cooperative members of society.

My Project

My students will use the tuners to adjust the pitch of their instruments to blend with their classmates. The tuners will provide the visual support they need in order to help their ears learn to hear notes that are in tune and out of tune.

Our tuba players provide the foundation for our balanced band sound.

These tuba rests will replace the well-loved tuba stands that we're using right now. The stands will provide a strong foundation to support these large instruments for small hands and bodies.

All of the resources we've requested will be used daily. They will make a positive impact on our learning.
