This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in a high poverty location in the big city. Some of the students that I teach speak two languages, English and Spanish. Most of the students I teach get free or reduced school lunch. They live in a hard neighborhood, but they love coming to school. They are awesome kids to work with.

My students need a JBL battery powered speaker in order for them to be heard loud and clear during performances and also when we have special events in the gym and for Robotics.

This JBL portable speaker & JBL wireless two microphone system will help us during family engagement nights and special events and Robotics. This JBL speaker will allow the students and families to be able to hear. Bringing families into the school for family engagement will build a connection between the families and staff of the school to increase students' achievement. With this JBL speaker and wireless microphones, we will be able to hear good quality sound loud and clear.
