This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need sturdy headphones that can last them all year. Our biggest issue is that students either have no headphones or bring in headphones that cannot withstand an entire year of wear and tear. My hopes is that if I have a class set of sturdy headphones then they will last all year and help our year run smoothly.
Headphones are so important in our digital world.
These students have a lot more support than when we were in school. We have IXL which reviews math lessons done in class, Reflex Math which helps with fact fluency, iReady which gives us data tracking info and intervention in both reading and math, and MyOn which helps kids with their love of learning and research projects. All of these programs require headphones. I would love to have a class set that will allow my students to take advantage of these programs.
