This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my kindergarten students have never worked on a computer program with headphones. They need to be able to adjust the size to get the best fitting headphones for their little heads. The reading phones will help them master the letter sounds in addition to the computer programs. We use a number of great educational programs to teach language and math in my kindergarten classroom that require the students to use headphones at the same time as their classmates.
We have headphones in our classroom, but many of them are very loose fitting and fall off easily, so we need to replace a number of them.
I know that it would be a great benefit to my students to have the use of properly fitting, working headphones as they learn on the computer.
