it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As educators in a Title I-funded public school in New York City, we are committed to providing our students with the resources they need to succeed in the digital age. Our kindergarten ICT/ENL class predominantly comprises Hispanic students, many of whom come from homes where Spanish is the primary language. Despite the challenges they face in learning English, our students demonstrate a remarkable willingness to learn and excel.
In recognition of the importance of technology in education, we have integrated ipads into our daily curriculum.
These devices enable students to access online lessons through iReady, a platform that offers personalized instruction in Reading and Math. To fully benefit from these lessons, students require reliable and comfortable headphones that allow them to focus and engage with the content. Unfortunately, the headphones currently available to our students are in poor condition and need to be replaced.
We have identified a specific model of headphones that is both durable and comfortable, making it ideal for our students' needs. By providing them with these headphones, we aim to enhance their learning experience and support their academic growth.
