As a teacher in a low socio-economic status school, I am lucky to have any materials to give my students the best learning opportunities. We are a 1:1 school with Chromebook access and use programs available to show our learning.
My students are 90% English Language Learners.
They need multiple opportunities to show their learning as well as tools to communicate with their classmates. They appreciate any opportunity to learn by doing. Through DonorsChoose.org and donors like you, I am able to make their learning more engaging.

Creating a space within our school where students and teachers can work on STEM projects.
A green screen holds endless possibilities!
It can be used to produce a weather report or explore and describe animal habitats. The mic'd headphones will allow students to work within the space as others share the room. Students can lend their voice to projects made in the STEM lab. A clean and organized space is key for production and the the cord keepers will allow students to move about the space without concerns of pulling cords; also allowing for the space to be easily used by others.
