My Students
My students are unique in that they come from many different towns in Connecticut. Their math background is as varied as they are. Some students come with good procedural knowledge of concepts but lack conceptual understanding. Other students lack both procedural and conceptual understanding.
I would love to be able to differentiate my lessons to meet the needs of all of my students.
Math is both verbal and written. Being able to see my students as I work with them is important to me.
My Project
I am requesting headphones so that my students may utilize technology in our everyday learning experiences.
Chromebooks are used by my students on a daily basis for rotations and independent practice.
Students come to me or go to the Chromebook and see and practice the skill with the help of a video and an assignment as part of the rotations. Many of my learners need headphones to stay focused on the videos. The rotations would be more effective if everyone could hear and engage completely in the video assignments if they had headphones. Every lesson from here on out will benefit from the help of these headphones.
