Our elementary school is a public neighborhood school located in Contra Costa County in California. The community blesses our school with amazing family volunteer participation.
This year, I will have 25 eager first-grade students.
My classroom will contain a community of vast learners. My classroom is usually a bustling place for hands-on learning. I love to engage my students in many hands-on activities.
My Project
My amazing 1st graders will begin their school year in 100% distance learning! If I learned anything since March...it is that there are a ton of distractions at home! Dogs barking, siblings interrupting, parents talking,...phones ringing!
To start our year... I would really love each of my students to have a pair of headphones.
Students will wear their headphones during online lessons, while watching educational videos, and playing engaging curriculum based games. Noise reducing headphones will increase focus and participation among students, as well as amplify the voices of their peers and teachers.
