My Project

In my classroom, there’s no shortage of ideas but sometimes, not every voice gets the chance to be heard. Whether it’s because a student is shy, speaks softly, or just sits a little too far from the front, their thoughts can get lost in the noise of the day. I want to change that.

That’s why I’m asking for your help in bringing a Q Ball into our classroom.

It’s a soft, throwable microphone designed for schools and it has the power to completely transform how we communicate and connect.

Instead of raising hands and hoping to be heard, my students could toss the mic from one classmate to another. It turns participation into something fun, collaborative, and totally engaging. Even the quietest kids light up when they get the chance to speak into the mic. It’s like suddenly, they’re not just participating, they’re performing in the best way.

We’ll use the Q Ball during read-alouds, discussions, Q&A sessions, presentations, and more. It’s an easy way to make sure everyone has a chance to speak and more importantly, to be listened to. It also helps with focus and builds confidence, especially for students who might otherwise stay quiet.

I truly believe this tool can help create a more inclusive, exciting environment where every student feels valued.
