My Project

As an Arts and Design focused school, one of the amazing things our students do each year is put on a musical. As the technology teacher, my job is to help assist our stage manager students learn how to run the lights and the sound for the show. Unfortunately, our soundboard/mixer is not up to par with what is needed.

A new sound mixing board will allow us to mic all the students for the school musical and allow them to have a performance quality they deserve.

Our current mixer can only run 5-6 mics and we have over 15 students who should be. By getting a new mixing board, our stage performers will be able to shine. In addition, my tech students will have the opportunity to learn how to use professional grade equipment and hopefully inspire some of them to pursue a career in sound.
