This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely adore teaching 2nd grade English Language Learners. They are always so eager to learn how to do new things which is why I thought of this project. Due to COVID-19 many students are not as open to speaking in public due to the fear of being wrong and not knowing English as well.

I would love the opportunity to make things a little bit more interesting for my EL students by teaching them how to speak in public.

The use of headphones and microphones would allow students to learn how to turn in oral assignments via the internet as well as use microphones to speak to their classmates. Please help me help my students achieve this goal!
