This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my 24th year of teaching at the same school, I will be following my students from 2nd grade to 3rd grade during this new phase of our educational experience of distance learning. I am excited to have another year with this group of students. The kids have bonded with each other and with me during these trying times.
We will tackle new topics of interest and experiment with different methods of learning TOGETHER...all while continuing to have fun and staying positive!
My Project
As we enter a new way of teaching and learning virtually through this pandemic, we all need a basic tool that will help us be more efficient during our limited time "in class."
The tools we each need is a pair of noise canceling/sound isolating headphones that will allow us to communicate more effectively.
I am a mom of 2 children who will be distance learning in my household as well. Many of my students will be online learning with me and their classmates while their siblings are interacting with their teachers and classmates. We all need these headphones to be able to eliminate as much household noise as possible so my students and I can hear each other clearly.
These headphones will make us better learners and teachers!
