My Students

I teach a fun, active group of 25 second graders. They love to learn and work together. In second grade, we learn a lot of new skills every day. These students are eager to learn and apply their skills every day!

My students are on a variety of levels in the classroom.

They need engaging ways to practice the skills they are missing. My students that are reading above level need engaging ways to challenge their brains!

They need new and exciting experiences to keep them engaged in our curriculum. I like to provide them with experiences that will immerse them in the learning and teach them about the world we live in.

My Project

We are lucky enough to have devices at our school. These devices provide us with the opportunity to use websites and apps that are self paced. These apps and websites are amazing at helping students develop their skills and grow at their own level.

Students need engaging ways to work on their own level.

These apps and websites are amazing! The only problem is, we don't have headphones to help us use these devices. It is very distracting to the other kids not on the devices. They are having to turn their volume all the way down and the app isn't as effective.

We need headphones so the students are able to effectively use these apps to grow and develop their skills.
