Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are extraordinary. I have the pleasure of teaching Computer Applications to my students and They are so awesome when it comes to technology. Each one of students are learning how to use Microsoft Office and have the opportunity to become industry certified in Microsoft Office as well. They also learn about many digital tools using Learning.com curriculum which requires each student to work on interactive lessons individually. The students in my class are also apart of Inter-curriculum organization called the Future Business Leaders of America.

In this organization, students are given the opportunity to participate in community service, attend competitions, and learn how to become a leader.

It is important that they learn these things to become successful citizens in society in the future.

My Project

Technology is an integral part of today's education and I would like to enhance technology into my Computer Applications class to engage students and enhance their learning. The items will allow us to expand our resources, deepen our exploration, provide new avenues for learning and allow students the means to focus and self reflect.

With the speaker and headphones, the students will be able to complete their assignments that require sound to understand the content taught in class.

All of my students are learning about Technology and different computer applications that will be used current and in their near future. The computer lab currently has 45 computers but some of those computers have no sound and for the ones that do the students can't afford the headphones needed to complete their assignments. By providing these items to my students, the kids will be able to be success in their assignments and class.
