My Students

My students are energetic and enthusiastic 10 and 11 year olds who love to learn new things! They love reading, STEAM activities, and problem-based learning. I teach two homerooms science and Gifted and Talented Math, Reading, and Writing. This means I teach about 60 students in a day!

My students are motivated to do well in school and our families deeply value education and support the school.

Our students really love technology, especially using Chromebooks! We use Google Apps, Quizlet, Discovery Education Streaming, SpellingCity, and so many more! Students love to create and edit projects through technology.

My Project

A class set of over-the-ear headphones will help our class run smoothly because we use chromebooks all the time to enhance our learning. Whether students are watching a video, practicing spelling words, making a video, or having a book read to them, headphones will help them learn without distracting others or contributing too much noise from the computer speakers to the classroom. While many students start off the year with earbuds from the school supply list, these quickly become lost, broken, or tangled. Earbuds are also not sanitary to share with other classmates who do not have headphones. Thank you for your support!
