My Students

My students thrive using technology in our classroom! Many do not have their own personal devices at their homes; therefore, they cherish the special time they have at school on their devices.

My students are living in high poverty situations.

Many are from single parent families or are being raised by a grandparent. My school is the largest Title One school in our district with many ELL (English Language Learners) students. My school has some very innovative and dedicated teachers.

My Project

Our district has recently approved a bond issue where each student will receive their own iPad. This is amazing; however, we need wireless headphones to go with these devices. Unfortunately, there have been times where students have accidentally broken the headphone jack off into the iPad. They also struggle to keep the cords untangled and many times, the headphones just stop working altogether.

Our new iPads have bluetooth capability and these wireless headphones will work perfectly to meet our needs.

It is important to invest in materials that will work most efficiently and effectively with our projects and curriculum.
