This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the amazing opportunity to work with phenomenal children every day! My students are the definition of resilience and relentlessness. Walking through the front door of the school is the first step toward the student's future!
Despite the fact that many students have immense challenges outside of school, the children always show up to school and are ready to academically challenge themselves and their peers.
I am able to help foster a love of learning and watch students grow and mature over the course of a school year.
My Project
We are lucky to have Chromebooks in our classroom. We dive into technology with whole group and individual assignments. Some students have their own headphones, some have Dollar store earbuds and some have nothing at all!
it would be amazing to have a class set of headphones to use for independent and whole group teaching.
We use sights such as Nearpod, YouTube, Discovery Education and Actively Learn. We have videos and audio clips that students use to expand their knowledge!
If we had a classroom set of headphones it wold be easy for the students to access these sites and explore various media in the classroom!
