My Students
Do you recall how great it felt to get your school work on the refrigerator of your home? I want all of my 2nd grade students to feel that pride and excitement. I teach at a STEM Academy. Although we have a NEW focus on Science and Engineering, English Language Arts is still an intricate part of our curriculum.
In my classroom, I have 25 students who are at varying levels in fluency, as well as comprehension.
Some are significantly below grade level, while others are at or above. Due to their wide range of academic needs, I often use online programs to differentiate my ELA instruction.
My Project
With these headphones, my students will be able to engage in the online programs we use in class to meet their varying academic needs. They won't have to wait patiently for another child to finish sanitizing a pair of headphones in order to share them.
Also, unlike ear buds that continually fall out of my 2nd graders' little ears, these adjustable, over-the-ear headphones fit comfortably on their head.
This allows them to focus on their learning instead of loose ear buds. These headphones also have a headphone jack that is easily pushed into place by tiny fingers, as it is shaped like a an "L."
