This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have the opportunity to teach reading, writing, Social Studies, and science all in Spanish. Many of these students struggle to understand their first language, much less transition to the English language.

With your help, we can create an academic space with bilingual learning resources to help my students achieve academic excellence.

My students are special in so many ways. They are hard workers and goal-achievers, and they do all this coming from a poverty-stricken area. Nevertheless, I love that my students are able to overcome anything to make their tomorrow a journey of success.
