This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently teach at a Title 1 Charter School in the South Bronx. My students come from a diverse population and they bring something to the table. My students will study the human, a theme I know they will love. However, since K-2 grade students are more than auditory learners, I wanted to give my students more opportunities for hands-on activities that they will surely never forget by providing them with pretend human bodies that they will be able to cut up and see the different parts of the body.
These materials will make a difference in their learning by providing them with an opportunity for them to see different body parts up close and having them see body parts up close.
