My Project
I love that my students are eager to learn and explore the world around them. They are entering school with a new level of excitement and I would love to feed their eager minds through multi sensory learning.
Legos will and play dough will be used for the students to build and explore their toy preference!
Our first unit of study for our reading program is exploring toys. We will read stories, talk about our preferences and interview others to find out what they prefer. In addition, we will compare toys from their era to toys of other generations.
All of this is done through reading, speaking writing and writing. These brilliant young students will have the opportunity to explore toys to determine what classroom toys they like and which their classmates prefer.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
