My students need math games that will help them have fun while learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The words "Can We Play Yet?", are heard many times in Kindergarten, especially in the first weeks.
Sometimes while learning routines, and trying to set up rules in the classroom, plus trying to cover all that needs to be learned in Kindergarten, there's not always time to play.
Math games and hands-on materials will give my children time to play while also letting me cover the curriculum, so we will be doing what we both like. First I will be teaching, and then we will be able to follow up with "play time" (only they won't realize playtime is an extension of learning time).
With your help, I will be able to help my children learn the basic skills they will need to succeed not only in Kindergarten but for life. They will be happier coming to school each day knowing that there is time for "play" and I will be happier knowing that I am doing my job to teach these children and making them happier in the process. I thank you in advance for helping my children.
