This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of my students come from low income families. They are very sweet children who are excited about learning. This year our lunch time is scheduled early in the day. By the afternoon, my students are hungry. I have been providing them with some snacks, but it's getting difficult for me to continue to do so. I would greatly appreciate your help with providing my awesome students with healthy snacks they want, need, and deserve.
These snacks will help my student to focus on their work and not on their hunger.
Like I said, our lunch is very early in the day. Many of my students do not have the means to bring in a snack of their own. If I am able to provide these children with a variety of snacks, they will be able to fill their hungry bellies and get through the day. No child will have to go hungry during the school day and each child will be able to pick their own treat. This will enable my students to concentrate on their lessons without feeling the pains of hunger.
Please help me provide my students with yummy treats. No child should go hungry. Thank you in advance for your help and generosity. I truly appreciate it. My students' bellies do too.
