This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to show their thinking and track the thinking of others. In our classroom we use Building Thinking Classrooms, which encourages students show their work on vertical dry erase boards and interact in groups and partnerships.
We are in desperate need of a new space to show our thinking throughout our lessons and work and that need can be filled with a compact dry erase chart stand.
Students will be able to work with their groups and share an track their thinking in all subject areas, but specifically math. The extra chart paper will come in handy as we co-create charts and models to refer back to over the course of a unit of study.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
