My Project
My classroom is full of some of our school's youngest learners. My five year olds are just beginning to learn how school works, and are working to explore the world around them. They are constantly learning new skills, and what better way to do that than through play?
Research consistently shows that children are able to develop incredibly important skills when they are able to play.
These construction toys will allow students to engage in more meaningful play in the classroom. They will be able to engage in play as a construction worker, use the construction pieces with our blocks, or ‘build’ things. They will learn to problem solve as they share items and use them to role play. Students will work on developing their language skills, and social skills as they collaborate with their peers through dramatic play.
