Can I Please Get a Mouse and Headphones?

My students need 10 headphones and 10 mice in order to work on their computers this school year.

My Students

Can you imagine not having a mouse and headphones for your computer? Well, that is the sad reality we are dealing with. We have no funds to buy essential resources that are students truly need. Therefore, we are at a cross road of not knowing without resources.

My students all come from low-income and poverty stricken neighborhoods on the Westside of Chicago, but just because their economic status isn't they still have the drive to learn in spite of their circumstance.

They would love to get on their computers to learn and grow if they had a mouse and headphones.

My Project

My students are at the age where they want to explore. Why not let them explore and learn on the computers to gain knowledge they need to know in their future? Kindergarteners absorb knowledge each and every day from what they hear. They are like sponges and soak everything in. Why not let them soak up information about language arts, science, social studies, and math on the computer. However, to make this happen, we are missing the most important things which are the mice and headphones for the students to get on. They can't work the key board yet so the mouse comes in handy when the just have to click on. Since other students are at their desk when others are on the computer they to headphones in to not distract others from learning as well.

By supporting this project, you will be allowing our future boys and girls to be able to learn about how a computer works.

They will be able to move the mouse around without touching the keyboard. The headphones will block the noise so other students will be able to finish their work. Please have a heart and support our project so we can have a mouse and headphones to use with our computers!
