Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help us host our first-ever family math night here at our school! We are hoping to provide a targeted support for up to 50 students and their families by offering a fun and engaging after-school event for students to prepare for state testing and develop a positive relationship with math.

We will be offering this support to the families of students that are 3 or more grade levels behind in math.

We will have math teachers and other support staff in attendance to facilitate the games and build relationships with families. At the end of the event, we will be sending the games home with attendees so that they can continue practicing math skills at home as a family.
