Help me give my students Spanish language books to take home to practice reading.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a group of playful, curious and energetic children who happen to have special needs. They attend a K-2 bridged, bilingual class in a Title 1 community school in New York City.
Some of my students are attending school for the first time and I would like to give them a positive school experience.
They have different strengths and are working on different skills, and so I am trying to stock my classroom with resources to support their learning.
Thank you so much for considering this project!
My Project
"Teacher, can I take this book? It's for me." I love to hear students ask for books to take home. I have a few books in our classroom library bins on their levels, but it's not enough to support lending at this time. Finding books in Spanish is difficult and costly but would it would greatly help my students' language development to have books available to them in their native language.
I would love to be able to lend my students books so that they may practice reading at home.
The books that I am requesting are high-interest books that they love and I know will encourage them to read. Thank you for your support of this project.
